What are the most overdone wedding trends 2018? When we are talking about trends we are not talking about the things that happen in every wedding, like the bride wearing a wedding dress, rings being exchanged and a sit down meal with speeches. All that stuff is going to happen at a wedding but when we talk about wedding trends we are talking about the small touches and extras that you do on your wedding day.
You may have seen some of the popular trends at a wedding you attended, examples include a photo booth, large letters, sweet stands, dessert tables and so on. Once a new wedding trend gets out it is fast to catch on and become extremely overdone.
Most Overdone Wedding Trends 2018 Include
1.Decorated Flower Walls – Kim and Kanye are to blame for this trend. Their wedding kiss in front of a wall of white flowers gave rise to this trend for a decorated wall. So if you want your wedding to be different we suggest you avoid this overdone wedding trend.
2.Lots of Bridesmaids – Ok we get it you have so many friends but there is no need to show them all of on the day of your wedding. We first seen the rise of a bridesmaid army in the states and it quickly spread to Ireland and the U.K. We believe that having more than 3 or 4 bridesmaids can hamper your day. Having such a big bridal party can affect the wedding by crowding the altar and can take away from your ceremony.
3.Light Up Letters – This trend has been around for a number of years now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere for some time. The letters are usually at the wedding ceremony and spell out the couples initials or spell out Mr and Mrs.
So that’s the most overdone wedding trends 2018, but at the end of the day if you want a flower wall or massive light up letters at your wedding… Have them! It’s your big day and you only do it once (HOPEFULLY) so you do what you want and if an army of bridesmaids makes you happy, go for it girl!
