EG Quest LTD (Trading as WeddingGift.ie) is an Irish, family-owned, business. The company was founded by husband and wife team Eoin and Gina who have been providing gifts to customers in Ireland and worldwide online since 2009. The idea, to start their own company, came about when Gina ordered a personalised gift for her friends from an Irish website, for some reason the order didn’t go through and by the time she realised it was too late, as the party was that weekend. Eoin being a graphic designer decided to make her an engagement gift that she could bring with her to the party. The gift was a massive hit and the couple wanted to know where it came from. That simple chain of events sparked something in Eoin’s mind and the rest is history.

The business started out small initially, with Eoin and Gina working from home around their full time job until the day finally came for them to take the plunge and give up both of their secure full time jobs to make a go of the website full time. This was a big decision they had to make, especially with a baby on the way, but things have gone from strength to strength and juggling both jobs was just not an option anymore.

The business has since moved out of their family home into a large office space in the Ballinasloe Enterprise Centre in County Galway. Along with the new office they hired additional staff to assist with the surge in orders. The company has proven a massive success and they owe that to many of our incredible customers recommending weddinggift.ie to their family and friends. weddinggift.ie are dedicated to providing a top class experience to their customers from start to finish. Initially Eoin & Gina started out with one website www.engagementgifts.ie, the goal was to create one website full of great quality gifts rather than trying to make a general occasion gift website. This allowed them to focus on one occasion and get it 100% right. Then when they mastered that website they moved onto the other websites. First came www.weddinggift.ie then www.anniversarygifts.ie, they had the same strategy with those sites. The final task was to compile all the amazing gifts onto one website for a person looking for gifts for many different occasions, this was when – www.thegiftshop.ie was created. The team are continuously updating the products and adding new and exciting gifts that they love and most importantly their customers love.
