Would You Remove Your Sister From Your Wedding For Your Partner

It’s a problem you think you will never have to face on the run up to your big wedding. It happened to one bride to be, her fiancée asked her to remove her twin from the bridal party because he feared that people would mistake her for the bride.

This story has gone viral online and we can see why, who in their right mind would ask their wife to exclude such an important family member from her wedding day. The groom in question explained how he had been with his fiancée for over five years.

The couple were set to get married in the next few weeks but he had an issue that he just had to address. His bride had already chosen her twin sister to be a maid of honor on their big day, but this was a last minute decision.

The problem for him started after he found out that the bride had picked white dresses for the bridesmaids which he felt was a wrong move and as a result he feared that people at the wedding might mistake the brides twin for the actual bride. The dresses just had to change or the twin needed to be removed from the bridal party.  The couple have a large wedding planned with over 400 guests set to attend and many will think that the twin is the bride, especially as she will be in a white dress and the fact that the wife and sister are identical twins.

The bride to be really didn’t see what the issue was and has refused to change the colour of the bridesmaid dresses. She also refused to remove her identical twin from the bridal party, leaving the groom feel like it’s going to be a total disaster.

He is standing his ground and demanding she either change the dresses or the sister be booted out of the bridal party. What do you think, do you think it’s fair for him to put this pressure and stress on his wife to be?  I personally would never choose white as bridesmaid dresses, I don’t get it, no one including guests at a wedding should be wearing white in my opinion.
