A Groom & Bride to be, who asked their guests to fork out a whopping £150 said they needed to find ways to raise money in order to get their dream wedding that otherwise they couldn’t afford.  The couple said they wanted the dream fairy-tale wedding but after buying a home together, they were not in a financial position to afford the big wedding they always wanted.

The couple advised invited guests that they simply couldn’t attend their wedding unless they handed over £150 cash on the day, which involved a weekend stay. The money would cover accommodation, food, drink and covers the use of the spa facilities and pool area.

With more than 200 people invited, it looks like the couple will only fork out just £3,000 to get married.
