What are our 5 Wedding Day Don’ts ?? Planning a wedding can be both an exciting and nerve wrecking time in any couples lives. You’ll spend so many months or in some cases years planning your dream wedding. What happens when all the planning is over and the wedding day is finally here!! Your day should only consist of celebrating your marriage and that’s it.
We don’t believe you should be doing any tasks like picking up guests or decorating the venue on the day of the wedding. It should be a day for you to relax with your new husband and enjoy the day you planned for so long. We have listed the top 5 wedding day don’ts as if you do less on the wedding day, you will be less stressed and less bridezilla like.
1.Don’t make plans the day of the wedding – This is the number one thing to not do on the day of your wedding, we advise you to avoid this at all costs. It’s so much better to enjoy a few hours of relaxing rather than running around like a headless chicken. Ask anyone and they will tell you that the day of the wedding goes so fast, so image losing some of it to do meaningless tasks.
2. Don’t worry about things that didn’t end up getting done – The basic truth here is NO ONE will even notice, trust me they wont. People are there to celebrate you and your other halves big day and that’s all that matters.
3.Don’t use any new products the morning of the wedding – Today is not the day to test out a new product, it’s just not. This is the biggest day off your life and we don’t want something happening to your face or body from using a new product.
4.Don’t ask the makeup artist or the hair stylist to try something new – It’s best to have a test run before to ensure you’re happy with what they can do for your face and hair. Brides tend to be stressed on the day and not knowing what way your hair or makeup will turn out is a big stresser for any bride.
5.Don’t skip eating breakfast and don’t get drunk – Many brides forget to eat the morning of their wedding and this is a big mistake. It’s such a long day and having a good breakfast will set you up for the day, especially of you decide to have a glass or two to settle the nerves before the church. Not having a breakfast can speed up you getting drunk and no one wants that!
All the best to the happy brides and grooms getting married this year and in the future!!
